Speech Therapy Services

What is speech and language therapy?
The purpose of speech and language therapy, often referred to as “speech therapy”, is to help your child communicate more effectively. For younger children who may difficulty expressing their wants and needs, this can result in frustration behaviors such as crying, tantrums, or withdrawing. The sooner your child begins therapy, the sooner they can make gains toward more functional communication and reduce frustration for the child and their family. For the older child, language difficulties or lack of speech clarity can result in personal and academic challenges, reduced confidence and less overall interaction with others.  Speech therapy is appropriate to start anytime you have concerns, and we are here to help you every step of the way!
